Patty Doyle, President of Chernobyl Children Project, was the recipient of the “Unsung Heroine” Award for 2008. Patty was nominated for the award by Lorraine and Greg Randolph. The Unsung Heroine Award recognizes women who have quietly, without fanfare and recognition, used their time, effort and enthusiasm to make a difference in the community. Patty was honored on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at the State House. The program included a keynote address by Attorney General Martha Coakley.
