Editor’s note: This is the third part of a series. The Daily News Transcript is reporting on the children of the Chernobyl Children Project during their stay in Massachusetts.
WESTWOOD – On Sunday, a crowd of parents and children gathered at Noanet Pond. Kids swam and splashed in the water, sometimes running to the beach to grab a towel or a snack from a parent. On one side of the dock, a group fished excitedly, showing off their catches to siblings and friends.
